SALFORD WAY DEMENTIA APP
The Salford Way dementia app has been designed by Salford CVS to provide a guide to shops, services and businesses in the city that are dementia-friendly.
The app is accessible on IOS (Apple) and android platforms and can be downloaded for free by people with dementia, their carers, friends and family. The app helps people to know which organisations within Salford welcome people with dementia and have an understanding of the disease.
GO2PHYSIO – NEW SELF REFERRAL PHYSIO SERVICE
You can directly access NHS physiotherapy without having to see your GP first. Physiotherapists are physical activity specialists working with you to enable you to manage your condition. They are expertly skilled to assess, diagnose, and manage patients with musculoskeletal conditions much in the same way as doctors.
Musculoskeletal conditions such as muscle or joint problems like back pain, knee pain or sprains are best managed by physiotherapists. Physiotherapists can transform people’s lives by:

Evening and weekend GP appointments available
Patients registered at this practice will be able to have evening and weekend appointments following the launch of the Salford Wide Extended Access Pilot in Eccles and Irlam.
The pilot, run by Salford Primary Care Together, means patients will be able to book appointments later in the evening (6.30pm-8pm) Monday to Friday and on a Saturday and Sunday morning (9.30am-12.30pm). These appointments will take place at Eccles Gateway.
