For repeat prescriptions the best and safest way is to order this online using the link via the top of this page.  If you are a new user please contact the surgery to verify your details request a password linkage key.


You could consider:


  • Using the tear off slip issued with each paper prescription and placing it in the designated box in reception.  Please always use the latest one issued


  • Electronic Prescribing is now live at St Andrews and you can also order your regular medication via your nominated local pharmacy.  Your prescription will then be sent there electronically without you ever having to step foot in the surgery.  Many local pharmacies also offer a prescription delivery service.  This is especially useful if you are housebound.


  • Email your request to stating the name of your doctor.  Please be aware that this email address is not secure.  The safest way to order a prescription electronically is by using the online service.

Medication Reviews


Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor or a practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.


Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
